About Us.

With over 30 years of combined experience, we proudly serve our community with integrity and craftsmanship. We built this company to deliver high-quality roofing and remodeling without the inflated “big company” markups. Our commitment is simple: honest, transparent service and results you can trust.

Philip Revland

Principal Contractor | Operations Director

I’m a native Texan with over 10 years of experience in roofing and home remodeling, helping homeowners turn ideas into spaces they’re proud of. I enjoy guiding clients through the process—answering questions, solving problems, and making what can feel overwhelming simple and exciting.

I take pride in handling the jobs others pass on. Many projects just need the right approach, attention to detail, and experience to get them done right—and that’s where I thrive.

Outside of work, I’m involved at Community Bible Church and value faith and community. I also enjoy staying active, following sports, and spending time with my two French bulldogs.

My goal is simple: make sure you feel confident, supported, and excited every step of the way.

Billy Dorman

Marketing Director | Lead Estimator

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and have proudly called San Antonio home since 2017. As the Marketing Director and Lead Estimator at SATR, I help homeowners protect, improve, and transform their homes with a focus on quality and trust.

I’m a husband of 10 years, a father to two amazing daughters, and a proud dog owner. I live by the values of faith, family, and focus—principles that guide how I lead, serve our clients, and approach every project.

I’m grateful to run this company alongside a close friend, building something rooted in integrity and craftsmanship. I enjoy connecting with people, earning their trust, and helping bring their vision to life.

My goal is simple: deliver an experience you can feel confident in from start to finish.

FAQ

  • My roof leaks. Do I need to have it replaced completely?

Not necessarily. It's possible that a section of your roof is loose, or that damage occured in one place only. We'll conduct a thorough investigation before suggesting repair options.

  • How long can I expect my roof system to last?

The lifespan of a roof system depends on the roofing material, installation quality, ventilation, and local weather conditions.  On average, shingle roofs last 20-30 years, metal roofs 40-50+ years, and tile roofs 50 years or more when properly maintained.  A professional roof inspection is the best way to determine your roof's remaining life and plan ahead with confidence.

  • Are your services covered by my home insurance?

Insurance coverage depends on several factors, including your policy type, the cause of damage, and the age and condition of your roof. Storm-related damage such as hail or wind is often covered, while wear and tear or aging typically is not. We provide detailed inspections and documentation to help homeowners understand potential coverage and navigate the insurance process with clarity.

  • When is the best time to do roofing repairs?

The best time to complete roofing repairs is as soon as damage is discovered.  Addressing issues early helps prevent leaks, structural damage, and more constly repairs down the road.  While roofing work can be done year-round, prompt repairs are always the most effective way to protect your home.
